Hello world! So here's a story I will tell for the rest of my life... I might as well write it here.
Last Friday, Oct. 5th, 2007 my boyfriend, Michael, took me for a surprise helicopter ride. We drove out to his parent's house that weekend and their backyard is up against an air strip. Everyone in the neighborhood owns planes and whatnot... well... about ten minutes after arriving Michael comes into the kitchen and notices the Woody, a neighbor, has his helicopter out and running and Michael says to me, "oh April, we should go see if he will give us a ride!". So I am all on board with that so we run over there and jump in after getting the OK. We were up in the air for 10 or 15 minutes, the weather was perfect, the lighting was soft but still bright enough to let us see all the scenery below. Before landing we circled over Michael's parent's backyard and Michael says to me "Hey April, what does that say?... On the ground?" and I look out my window to see a huge message reading MARRY ME APRIL in white paint on the grass. I turned to him and saw a ring in his hand...
yada yada, I am officially spoken for =) Yeah!
Although it is no surprise to anyone we are,
we are at our 5.5 year mark.
He is wonderful, and such a blessing...
And look at the story he's given us! Awesome!! =)

Oh goodness...
So here it is, my confession:
I have holes in my socks... and I do not care. Nope, not a bit.
I told my boyfriend yesterday that my toe has a hoodie because the sock I was wearing had a hole over the top of my big toe.
I tried to draw a face on it, but to no avail.
Other than homework and work, I have a pretty boring life. Not a lot in April's world, although I seem to always be super busy. Dull and in a rush... that's my life.
Oh! My mom is coming to visit at the end of the month. She lives in San Antonio so I am excited to see her soon =) !
That is all for now,

Oma and Opa
Oma and Opa is German for grandma and grandpa... and I saw them yesterday.
They live in Ohio and I had not seen them for a few years, but thankfully they could come down to Tulsa for a brief visit.
Just a little background...
My dad's mom is from Germany and my dad's father is from Puerto Rico. After nearly 50 years in Ohio they are yet to lose an ounce of accent. I by no means am complaining, I just find it interesting. My Opa is trilingual (Spanish, English, and German) and my Oma is bilingual (German and English) although Oma still struggles with her grammar at times.
My dad, along with his three younger brothers, only speaks English with the exception of a few German phrases. Those few phrases are the same I know and were learned in preparation for visiting Germany.
All this German talk has reminded me...
Michael and I are planning (notice I said panning not 'going') to visit some extended family of mine in Germany over the Christmas break. I have been out of the country a hand full of times but Michael has not, so I am sooooooooooooo excited for him.
I need to brush up on that German I know is somewhere in my mind.

I hate this blogging system.
I have been dancing around signing in for about the last 40 mins.

If this had a face, I would be punching it right now.
Yada yada... here I am at last.
So last week I talked about possibly having a drum set by now... No rat-a-tat-tatting for meas of yet. The drums are still on my mind but not in my house.
Oh well... I have other things to spend money on.
My boyfriend, Michael, and I are trying to plan out planning out a wedding... soooooooooooooooooooooo I have, we have, stress.
Boo stress!
Boo work!
Boo anything but
hammocks
sleep
brownies
puppies
and old school Nintendo Mario Brothers filled afternoons.
Sigh... think positive, I shall
startinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Now!
cheers to tomorow!!

If You Have Ever Met Me
If you have ever met me, you know that my voice is a little on the higher side. Not in a rediculious way, not squeeky, just... well... youthful. That being said...
Last week I was sick! By now, I am pretty much over it, ha ha but now... I sound a few octaves lower than my normal self. I find it funny.
So I have been singing the National Anthem to myself just to laugh about how manly I sound.
I also talked to my mom today on the phone, she also laughed at me after I told her of my singing... but no actual singing for her.
"I love to laugh, ha ha ha ha. I love to laugh and sing" -Song from Mary Poppins

So Here's the Scoop
Sheesh... I am unhappy with the internet... This shall be a rewrite of what I meant to post on account of the internet being a jerk and erasing what I, no less than a few seconds ago, posted.
In short...
It is possible that I might attain a drum set in about a week or less. That is, if my boyfriend's brother-in-law's friend who owns a music shop comes through and cuts me a good( cheap) deal. The plan there after would be to actually learn how to play (well).
Here's to hoping for the best *clink*... (pretend you have a glass as well, and chears (sp?)...)
My other good news is shortly I will have working AC in my car!!! Awesome!!
Be aware, be active, be who you are meant to be,
Goodnight
April
